Work your leads in the app

Every enquiry the ads bring in lands in your own account. This is how to get it on your phone, answer people fast, and move each card as it goes, so you know what the ads are making you and we know which ads to put more money behind.

Where it lives

app.huntvisuals.com on a laptop, or the LeadConnector app on your phone. Same login for both.

The rule that matters

Ring within five minutes. A lead you ring straight away books at several times the rate of one you ring tomorrow.

What we need back

The card moved, the value on the ones you win, two words on the ones you lose. That's it.

Your progress

Part 1. Get it on your phone

Once, then you never think about it again.

Steps 1 to 3

When we set your account up you get an email inviting you in. It's from Hunt Visuals and it has a button to set your password. Search your inbox for app.huntvisuals.com if you can't see it, and check junk.

  1. Open the invite email and click the button to set your password.
  2. Log in once on a laptop at app.huntvisuals.com to check it works.Email and password only, there's no Google button on this login.
  3. No invite? Message us and we'll resend it. Takes us ten seconds.

The phone app is called LeadConnector. It's the same system as the website, built for answering people on the move.

  1. Install it: iPhone or Android. Search LeadConnector in the store if the link doesn't open.
  2. Log in with the same email and password from step 1.
  3. If it asks which account, pick your business name.

This is the whole point of the app. A lead that pings your phone gets rung. A lead that sits in an inbox gets rung on Thursday, and by then they've booked someone else.

  1. When the app asks to send notifications, tap Allow.
  2. On iPhone, go to Settings, Notifications, LeadConnector and check Allow notifications is on, with banners and sounds.Android: long press the app icon, App info, Notifications, all on.
  3. In the app, open Settings and check New lead and New message are both switched on.
  4. If someone else answers enquiries for you, tell us their name and email and we'll add them too.

Part 2. When a lead lands

The same three moves every time. Half a minute of your day per lead.

Steps 4 to 6

The notification tells you who they are and what they asked for. Tap it and their card opens with their number, their answers and every message in one place.

  1. Tap the notification, or open Conversations in the app. The newest lead is at the top.
  2. Ring the number. Say who you are and that they just filled in your form. Most people are surprised how quick it is, and that surprise is what books the job.
  3. No answer? Send one message from the card, so it's on record: "Hi, it's [you] from [your business], just tried to call about your enquiry. When's good to chat?"
  4. Reply to messages from inside the app, not from your personal phone. Then we can both see what's been said.
Why five minutes and not tonight

Someone filling in a form has their phone in their hand and the problem on their mind. An hour later they've filled in two more forms. The first one to ring usually wins, and that's the only advantage that costs nothing.

Every lead is a card on a board. The columns run left to right in the order a job actually goes: new, contacted, quoted, and so on to closed. Drag the card to wherever the job is right now.

Opportunities, your board
New lead3
Contacted2
Quote sent4
Closed1
  1. Open Opportunities. On the phone it's in the bottom menu, on a laptop it's on the left.
  2. Press and hold a card, drag it to the right column, let go.Your columns are named for your business, so they might not match the picture exactly. The idea is the same.
  3. Do it the moment something changes. Quote sent, visit booked, whatever the column says. It's ten seconds and it's what makes the next step possible.

This is the one that changes what the ads cost you. Meta learns from whatever we feed it. Feed it form fills and it finds more people who fill in forms. Feed it a £12,000 job and it goes looking for more of those.

  1. Open the card and tap the status at the top. Pick Won or Lost.
  2. Won: type the job value in the value box. Rough is fine, £8k is more useful than nothing.
  3. Lost: two words in the notes on why. Too far. Price. Went quiet. Wanted it next week.
  4. Tap save. Done.
What you get back for it

About a month in we can tell you your real cost per job, which ad brought the money and which just brought forms, and move your budget off the ones that waste it. None of that is possible if every card still says New lead.

Honest fallback

If you know you won't keep the board up to date.

Some people will never drag a card and that's fine. The only bad option is both of us guessing. So the deal is this: every Friday, send one WhatsApp with the jobs you won that week and roughly what they were worth. We'll log them ourselves.

Friday message, copy it and fill it in
Won this week: Mrs Patel kitchen £14k, Dan H bathroom £6.5k
Lost: 2, both too far out

If you get stuck

The app says my login is wrong

Use the Forgot password link on app.huntvisuals.com, not in the app. Set a new one there, then log in to the app with it. If the email never arrives, message us and we'll reset it from our side.

I didn't get a notification for a lead

Nearly always the phone's own settings. Go back through step 3, and check the app isn't in low power or "do not disturb" mode. If it's all on and you still got nothing, tell us the lead's name and we'll check what happened on our side.

A lead has the wrong number or no details

Happens with maybe one in twenty. Try the email if there is one. If there's nothing usable, mark it lost with "no details" so it doesn't sit there looking like a job.

Can I add my own customers to the board?

Yes. Contacts, then add. It's your system as much as ours, and it's far better to see every job in one place than to keep the ad leads separate.

Ring fast, move the card, tell us the value

That's the whole job on your side. Everything else, the ads, the forms, the follow ups, is ours.
